Introducing Jetfire

TrackerRealm is proud to announce the introduction of Jetfire, a workflow language designed specifically for Power User Content Experts.
The introduction of spreadsheets gave Content Experts a tool to organize their data. These Content Experts became spreadsheet Power Users. Jetfire is designed with the same goal in mind, to give Content Experts a tool to organize their work – the way that they want it organized.

By creating a workflow specific language and workflow creation environment, the libraries are specific to workflows. This minimizes the learning curve for the workflow creator, thus focussing their efforts on getting the workflow up and running.
The Jetfire language has a number of features that make it easy for Content Experts to write workflows:

Hides software complexity

Multi-threading and other esoteric software functions are hidden from the writer
Writer is focussed on Success Path coding
Events are hidden
Data is secure

Multi-user, Multi-computer
Multi-language (switch on the fly)

One Jetfire user remarked “Is that all the code there is?” – A testament to the ease of coding with Jetfire.

“This represents a new approach to writing workflows where the Content Expert writes the workflow”, says co-Founder John Hansen. It is even easier to take an existing workflow and modify it and then start using it.
Jetfire and the code library written using the Jetfire language are open source. With Jetfire, you code your workflow the way that you want – add states, command methods and properties. Once the workflow is coded, you start using it – it is that quick and easy.
